IMT Nagpur believes that research plays a pivotal role in fostering the quality of thinking and the rigor of scholarship in its delivery of management education.

As an institution with a mission to develop Global Managers, IMT Nagpur will focus its research and scholarly inquiry to enhance the conceptual understanding of management principles and theories and to enable the applications of these principles and theories into the practice of management.

Besides these two objectives, IMT Nagpur believes that research in B schools should help in enhancing the quality of teaching-learning process.
