Aarambh is a National-Level Business Plan Competition organized every year under E-Cell’s annual flagship event Pantheon. The competition is designed for risk-takers, opportunists, and innovators whom we call an entrepreneur. ECC provides them a platform to structure their ideas in a winning direction by pitching the concept in front of an esteemed Jury comprising of successful experienced Venture Capitalists. Moto of Aarambh is to push ideas into concrete concepts which have the potential to shape the future.

Investors' Insights is a part of the two-day Annual Entrepreneurship Summit - Pantheon. It is a platform that inspires budding entrepreneurs to seek practical knowledge from a panel of esteemed Venture Capitalists. The student managers get a clearer view of the parameters on which a start-up is judged. The speakers for this year’s event were Mr. Vineet Khurana – CEO of SACC (Startup Accelerator Chamber of Commerce), Mr. Raghav Kanoria - CEO and Co-founder at Neoleap Accelerator and Mr. Yashovardhan Shah - Investor at Veefin Solutions and ValuEnable.
Start-Up 101: Founders’ Workshop is designed to make student managers convert their idea into reality and also to educate them about the challenges a start-up faces during its initial phase in the marketplace. The event provides a comprehensive understanding of the world of startups and entrepreneurship and is a great opportunity for all students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in the startup ecosystem to gain valuable insights and knowledge. The workshop featured expert speakers from the industry Mr. Abhijeet (Founder of Ekatra) who shared his valuable insights on the topic: The Art of Leadership, and Ms. Aditi Madan (Founder of BluePine Food Pvt. Ltd.) who shared her valuable experience on the topic: Hurdles of Entrepreneurship.
Mosaic: The Start-up Expo is a trade fair organized under Pantheon. The platform aims to inspire budding entrepreneurs to seek practical knowledge and experiences from a host of budding start-ups. At this year's event, Mosaic brought together local and non-local entrepreneurs to interact with and educate student managers. This enthralling event allowed budding start-ups and entrepreneurs to market and showcase their products, creating an environment of learning for students. This year Start-ups that participated were: B2_li_cious – The Choco Hub, Sugar & Smiles, BassKya, Breathing Paper, Creative Key, Dhruvartstra, Inkredible Tattoo, Lishkaray, The Scrunchie Couture, 3D Desk Technology.
The event will be divided into two parts -
The application form will consist of a questionnaire about the proposed business idea which is to be duly filled
The evaluation will be on the basis of their uniqueness, feasibility and scalability.
The shortlisted teams for the campus round would be informed by email by 14th January 2023. Teams need to send their confirmation regarding participation within a day of the receipt of the mail, failing which the next best team would be invited.
Deadline for executive summary round is 8th January 2023.
Deadline Extended: 12th January 2023
Results will be declared on 14th January 2023.
The selected team need to send their confirmation within a day from the date of declaration of result. If not, then their selection stands cancel and the next best team from the waitlist will be selected.
There will be two rounds in campus round.
Participants must adhere to the following guidelines:
i) Presentation should be sent in PDF format.
ii) In case of any video, it should not exceed 2 minutes.
ii) Maximum number of slides should not be more than 20. Presentation should cover the following heads:
a) Ideation and Environment Scan (Need fulfillment, Available Alternatives, Customer acceptance).
b) Feasibility Study (Competition, Price Band and Potential).
c) Market Offering (Firms Competitive Strategies, Differentiating Factors).
d) Financial Projections ( Revenue Model , Forecasting).
e) Marketing plan (Ex- 4ps, SWOT Analysis, etc).
f) Model Timeline ( 2-3 years ).
iii) Subject line for the email : Aarambh_TeamName
iv) Mail the presentation to ecell@imtnag.ac.in with the details of the team ( name, phone number, email-id) by 11:59:59pm Saturday 18th January,2023.
v) Only top 20 entries will qualify for the final round.
vi) Time allocated to each team will be 20 minutes (15+5) encompassing the presentation and a Q&A round.
