IMT Nagpur Invites Participants for Faculty Development Programme in Entrepreneurship
IMT Nagpur is conducting an Advanced Faculty Development Programme in Entrepreneurship from 17th September to 28th September, 2012. The venue chosen for the same is Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur.
The Program, directed by the Associate Professor at IMT Nagpur, Prof. Rajkumar Phatate, is aimed at familiarizing the participants with the procedure of developing high technology and high growth entrepreneurs. It would also acquaint the faculty members with new and effective methods of teaching entrepreneurship. The programme is expected to enhance the way this subject is being taught in India.
The programme has specially been designed for the faculty members of Science and Technology institutions. IMT Nagpur also invites the subject specialists, visiting faculties and all those involved in helping the students become entrepreneurs. Since the program is focused on discussing the process of developing high tech and high growth enterprises it may prove to be beneficial for the trainers working with ED institutions. Various faculty members from across the country are looking forward to attending this edifying programme on Entrepreneurship.
The 12 day long Faculty Development Programme would cover various topics. Entrepreneurship Development process and Entrepreneurial competencies, Business plan preparation, Business Idea Generation & Evaluation, Financing Technology start-ups, High tech Entrepreneurial eco-system in India, Business incubation process to create Technopreneurship, Creating enabling mechanism for new venture creation, to name a few. There would also be a special training on web based 'New Venture Strategy' simulation game.
