The Milestone Committee of the Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur organized Milestone 35, on 15th and 16th October, 2016 which intrigued the students in an engaging two day event. The inter college fest witnessed students from other premier business schools, giving an opportunity to the students to compete and participate with peers across the country.
The event encompassed mind boggling and exciting games organized by the various student driven forums of the college. The games witnessed active participation from various institutes such as Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies-Bangalore, VNIT-Nagpur, NKP-SIMS-Nagpur and other renowned colleges.
The first day of the event began with breath-taking performances in War of Bands- Whiplash. Bands from various colleges came to portray their passion for music through their performances. The night was lit up with many genres, from Death Metal by Legal Sin to Bollywood by Aarambh. Much engaging performances were given by Aayog, Shivishwa, Locha and Infestation followed by the other bands amongst those who delivered mesmerising shows included Dhoka, Jiyo, Cerberus and Cynide Reborn. The Star performance by Azeem Banatwalla, a stand up comedian, part of East India Comedy tickled the funny bones of student managers. His wits left the crowd applauding and teary eyed.
There could not be a better finale of the night than the performance by Daira, a rock band which got the entire campus head-banging to its tunes. The Mumbai based band, played in the alternative rock genre, with most of their songs based on freedom, love and nothingness. The band spread positive vibes across the campus and won everyone’s hearts with their soul-stirring performance.
Day two witnessed Futsal, a revised version of football which was played on a smaller field. The teams, comprising of six players each, gave their best to outplay each other.
