Dr Jitendra Sharma is a distinguished academician and industry professional with over 33 years of experience, seamlessly blending industry expertise, academic rigour, and a passion for developing cutting-edge educational content. His career spans over five years in industry roles and over 28 years in academia, making him a valuable resource in classroom and research domains.
Excellence in Case Writing and Global Recognition: Dr. Sharma’s prowess in case writing has been nationally and internationally acknowledged. He was awarded the Best-Case Writer Award by AIMA twice, ranking first in 2023 and third in 2024. His cases have consistently ranked on the global bestseller list at Ivey Publishing, achieving the 7th and 20th positions in 2022 and 2023, respectively. His case studies are available in multiple languages (Chinese, Spanish, French) and published by premier outlets like Ivey, Harvard, and The Case Centre. These achievements underscore his skill in crafting compelling, insightful, globally resonating cases.
Professional Accreditations and Achievements: A Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma certified by KPMG, Dr. Sharma is an expert in process improvement, a skill he has imparted through executive training and consulting. Additionally, he is a certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9000), bringing high-quality assurance standards to his work. His teaching and mentoring quality consistently earn high student ratings, with feedback scores invariably above 95%, affirming his place as a top educator.

He regularly contributes to the academic community by guiding PhD scholars under institutions like RSTMNU, AIMA, and NLU Jodhpur.
Academic Leadership and Administrative Roles: Dr. Sharma has held several key administrative positions at IMT, including Dean (Academics), Associate Dean (Research), Program Chair, and Chairperson of the Learning Resource Centre. His role in organizing conferences, such as ICOMS 2010 and INVENT 2007, highlights his dedication to creating platforms for knowledge exchange and academic growth.
Diverse Teaching Portfolio and Executive Education Excellence: A thought leader in pedagogy, Dr. Sharma’s courses are known for their industry relevance. They are often developed with input from business leaders and senior academicians. He has taught many subjects, including Lean, Quality Management, and Process Management, at institutes like IIM Raipur, TAPMI, NIT Raipur and IMT Dubai. Industry Foundation and Early Career: Dr. Sharma began his career as a Graduate Trainee Engineer. Subsequently, they worked as a Technical Officer and Plant Engineer, where he honed skills in production planning and maintenance.
