Sayan Banerjee is an associate professor and the chairperson of economics and general management area at Institute of Management Technology (IMT)-Nagpur. He is currently the chairperson for admission. He holds degree of MSc. in Economics (with Specialization in International Trade) from University of Calcutta, Kolkata. Sayan Banerjee is trained in case study based method of teaching by Harvard
Business School, Boston. He is currently pursuing his Doctoral in the area of Management.

Sayan Banerjee has more than 24 years of teaching, research and consultancy experience. He teaches subjects of Economics of Globalization and Multinational Corporations, Macroeconomics Principles and Policies, Industrial Economics & Competitive Strategy and Business Environment to the graduate students.
His Research Interests are in the fields of Micro Finance, Political Economics, and Macroeconomic Policy Analysis. He has several national and international journal publications, case study and international conference presentation to his credit.

Sayan Banerjee has been a corporate trainer and an in-house resource person for various corporations in India that includes Asian Paints Ltd., NTPC Limited, RPG Enterprise, L& T Industries, Mercedes Benz Research and Development Unit-India,

Dr. Reddy’s Lab-Hyderabad, Accenture-Bangalore to name a few.
